Clinical rationale

Thanks to animal and human skin explants studies, the proof-of-concept has been demonstrated, as well as the safety of the treatment.

This approach recently showed its safety and efficacy in humans through clinical cases and a pilot clinical trial focusing on long horizontal scars from abdominoplasty. The results confirm the benefits of the LASH® technique in speeding up the healing process and dramatically preventing and reducing scars.

Given its encouraging first results, Ekkyo started in August 2008 a multicentric and multi indication clinical program and launched EkkyLite™ in Europe on the surgery market.
