Ekkyo is striving to follow the best possible practices in terms of corporate governance.  The company has created a Scientific Advisory Board in 2007 composed of scientists and practitioners who are all experts in the fields of laser technology and surgery. The board of directors is responsible for defining and deploying the company’s strategy, as well as dealing with all administrative, legal and financial matters.

Yves Tack (56)
Yves Tack spent the first 10 years of his career in the US in financial consulting and portfolio management areas. He worked in prestigious holding companies in New York City and Philadelphia prior to launching Dessauer & Tack Asset Management. Then he founded Global Equities in Paris, France, and was the director of the Equity Department at BNP Paribas Capital Markets in London, UK. Back to Northern France, he managed Participex until its buyout by Crédit Agricole. Yves Tack is the President of the Business Angels club of Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France, regional chief representative of the Institut Français des Administrateurs and director of multiple companies (Sonepar, Bonduelle, Devianne…).

Pierre Casanova (44) MBA, Pr. at the IAE in Aix-en-Provence, France
Pierre Casanova is the founder and managing partner of DDH-Partners, a small investment-banking boutique specialized in high technology. Prior to this, he worked in Europe and the US for 10 years in the field of risk capital, strategy, and mergers & acquisitions, largely as Vice-Chairman of GE Capital. Pierre Casanova is the CEO of Carewave Shielding Technologies, a company specialized in electromagnetic shielding, and an administrator of ATCG-Partners, the French leader in scientific and technical communications.

Cédric van Rijckervorsel (39)
Cédric van Rijckevorsel is both founder and associate manager of IDS Capital SA, a financial consulting company specialized in alternative investment strategies and risk capital. Prior to founding IDS Capital, he worked for various financial institutions in Europe and Asia mainly in charge of investment fund management as well as public and private consulting.
